Is it ok to keep an electronic keyboard plugged in the electric socket when turned off and not in use?

I have a Yamaha E313, and I play it only an hour a day. However it’s a hassle to keep plugging then unplugging after playing. Is it ok to leave it plugged in the socket?

As with anything that’s electronic and expensive it’s probably a good idea to use a surge protector. Also keep in mind energy consumption, if you want exact numbers to find out how much it uses when it’s turned off you should be able to get a number by contacting the manufacturer.
