DO all Pet store puppies come from puppy mills?

I’m not going to get a puppy from petstore because I heard they had problems due to puppy mills, am getting mine from a shelter. But is it true that ALL pet shops that have puppies come from puppy mills?
If so can they get in trouble?

Yes all pet stores get their puppies from puppy mills.

They try to fake you out by listing the “breeder”, but the minute you see the puppy came from Missouri and all those other puppy mill states you of course know.

Also there is NO reputable breeder that would sell or broker a puppy to a pet store.

ALL reptuable breeders have will have in their contract that the dog comes back to them no matter what and no matter when. A puppy sold through a pet store would never have that in the contract. Therefore no reputable breeder would put one of their puppies in a pet store.

Also-many reputable breeders do “home checks” before placing their puppies. Again not something they can do when if they sell to a pet store.

Last but not least ALL reputable breeders have spay and neuter contracts on their dogs. Something NO pet store does.

Therefore you will only get some backyard bred, puppymill dog from a pet store. Produced by someone who does not give a rats behind about dogs.
